Current Condition: A little tired after trying to figure out how to land a floating bar, but mostly well
Abilities: As an Air Genasi, Dorian has the abilities of unending breath (which allows him to hold his breath indefinitely while conscious) and can cast levitation once a day. As a bard, he is able to cast cantrips such as blade ward, mending, minor illusion and thunderclap, as well as spells such as charm person, dissonant whispers, cure wounds, invisibility, and shatter (and likely other spells as well, but these are currently his known spells). He is also able to inspire others through music, can play musical instruments, and has skills in sword-fighting and general combat
Inventory: At the time he is picked up, Dorian will have his blue lute, his axe (the handle of the axe is also his flute), his winged boots (which allow him to fly for a limited amount of time), his moon-touched scimitar, the Canaith Mandolin, an immovable rod, a bag of holding with gold, a Bertrand Bell doll, and a sending stone, as well as the clothes he is wearing

❧ What is your character’s biggest fear? How do they handle it?
Dorian’s biggest fear is simply not being good enough. Dorian grew up in the Silken Squall with many expectations placed on him, despite being the second in line to inherit the Wyvernwind’s position of guiding the Squall, and in many ways he feels that he wasn’t able to meet those expectations. He often felt overshadowed by his older brother, Cyrus, and had left home to try and prove his worth, even if only to prove it to himself. Even while traveling and meeting with the people who would become his friends, though, he often feels that he is not quite good enough with them. He still works as hard as he can and tries his best – and even at times can be called a bit of a try-hard – but he often still doubts himself and his abilities, despite even what his friends say about him.
❧ If your character had to choose between saving a loved one and saving an entire city of innocents, who do they pick?
Dorian has proven before that he would absolutely choose to save a loved one over saving others. When bargaining with the Spider Queen to regain memories that he had lost, and she had asked for a champion, he had been willing to give the Circlet to Poska despite knowing what both of them were capable of, and knowing the circlet in Poska’s possession would make her even more dangerous, in return for the Spider Queen sparing his friends. Even the Spider Queen expresses her surprise when she realizes that he means it, and ultimately it does change his alignment from Chaotic Good to Chaotic Neutral.
❧ What three adjectives would you use to describe your character and why those three?
Anxious - Despite how charming and charismatic he can be, Dorian is also often a bit nervous and unsure of himself at times. This can partially be attributed to his secluded upbringing, but he does seem to have trouble interacting with others at times, and can often get too caught up in his doubts that he hesitates and has trouble acting until it’s too late.
Open - While Dorian can often act guarded and has trouble trusting others, he is actually has quite an open and welcoming mind. Even growing up closed off from the rest of the world, Dorian was still curious about what life on the surface was like. He’d hinted that his parents wouldn’t approve of romantic relationships with non-Genasi, but that is not the kind of person he is. He enjoys seeing different kinds of people living and working together, and wants to explore and see more of what the world has to offer.
Elegant - Dorian is often described as fancy by friends and strangers alike. Coming from a family of money (something that people always seem to notice about him upon just a glance), he enjoys fashion and fine clothes, and keeps his appearance as clean and neat as possible. He is also educated, so is eloquent and well-spoken, adding to his sense of class and sophistication.
❧ What would you consider their biggest flaw/weakness?
Dorian’s biggest weakness is that how he often still struggles with trusting others. While he’s come a long way, he is still a rather secretive person, and doesn’t open up easily to others. He had a lot of difficulty with trusting people outside of his circle of friends, despite the expertise with other matters that some of those people could provide to help his friends. But even with his friends he has a tendency to keep secrets, and even at times lie to them. At times it’s because he doesn’t want them to worry, but eventually even he realized that he really had no reason to be lying to them as he was. He is working to be more honest with the people he already trusts, and to be able to at least try to be open to others who could potentially help him and his friends.
❧ What is the most difficult choice your character has had to make? How did they handle it?
The most difficult choice Dorian has had to make was choosing betweenstaying in Jrusar to help his group of friends, and leaving the cityto help look out for his older brother, Cyrus. He had initially cometo Jrusar to help his friend, Orym, and had since made new friendsand gotten close to the group that would become Bells Hells. But whenhis brother turned out to be wanted and had to go on the run, he madethe decision to leave with Cyrus in order to help keep his brothersafe. As much as he wanted to stay with the friends he had gotten toknow, he was willing to sacrifice his wants in order to see that hisbrother was safe.
