As Karnon approaches them, Dorian has to bite his tongue to keep himself still, to not push him away and try to run. He does wince as the man puts his hands on each of their shoulders, his grip firm and possessive as he leads them out the door. ]

[They leave without a goodbye from the others, out the heavy wood doors, and into the dark hallway. As the doors close behind them while they are marched to the end of the passageway, they hear the sound of guards' footsteps. Lord Karnon stops and keeps his grip on their shoulders.

The guards approach the three men without a word. Taryon turns to Lord Karnon, but before he can ask anything, he's given a harsh shake: don't speak.]

[ Dorian holds his breath the entire walk out of the dining area, somehow feeling like it lasts forever despite the short distance. Once the doors close behind them, he finally releases it, but he doesn’t relax as the guards step forward.

“Take them back downstairs,” Karnon says as he urges the two men forward towards the guards. Then he smiles, a dark expression as he adds, “And see what you can do to keep them… open. I never know when I might be in the mood for a bit of fun myself.”

The guards glance at one another with a shared smirk before bowing to Karnon. “Yes, Lord Karnon,” they agree. ]

[Taryon's head shakes, unable to decide whether to focus on the guards or Lord Karnon. He ends up asking the two:] What are you doing?
